בֵּיצָהf. (b. h.; בּוּץ, בִּצְבֵּץ) 1) (the bubbling, egg. Bets.I, 1; a. fr.Sabb.VIII, 5 (80b) ב׳ קלה a light (easily boiling) egg. 2) an egg-shaped object, ball, lump. Ib. בֵּיצַת הגיר Ar. (ed. הסיד) cement (lime) in a lump; Tosef. ib. VIII (IX), 20 בזמן שביצה, Var. שהיא כביצה, when it is as compact as a ball, opp. חבוט.Par.V, 6; Lev.
